Artist's Note
The most beautiful ceremony we can be in is the truth and wisdom of love. Here we no longer concern ourselves with race, religion, or gender – all simply barriers to being in this sacred place. I once saw two partridges dancing, fluttering their wings at each other in a mating dance. It was beautiful. Beyond sex, love opens the door for us to be greater than we think we can be – and bring another along with us.
We are all in the Earth World for a short time. We have the choice of leaving it better or making it worse. By seeing our similarities in others, we begin to see the truth of our histories and our knowledge becomes powerful. We are allies, not enemies. We can love each other without shame.
